Welcome to my world of colour, feelings and emotions. I’m J. E. JONES - author and creator of resources that support emotional learning through colour, creativity and storytelling. I hope these books help you and your loved ones feel seen, supported and inspired.

With over a decade of experience supporting neurodiverse children, teens, and adults, J. E. JONES is a passionate educator, creative author currently self-publishing her work, and a proud advocate for emotional expression through colour, storytelling, and connection.

Inspired by her Afro-Caribbean heritage and her own neurodiverse family, she has created a powerful and inclusive collection of books designed to help children, young adults and adults explore their emotions in a safe, creative, and joyful way. Her titles include THIS IS HOW I'M FEELING collection, the HUUEMOTIONS series, JUST LIKE YOU...I CAN TOO! rhyming book, and a range of beautifully illustrated colouring books for children, teens, and adults.

    As a Speech & Language Therapist, I’ve found this book to be an incredibly useful and engaging tool for helping children understand emotions in a creative and accessible way. The added activities at the end are a brilliant touch and the colouring pages are a big hit with the children I work with. I also really appreciate the practical recommendations at the back for caregivers, teachers and professionals - they offer helpful strategies for supporting emotional regulation and managing dysregulation. A fantastic resource all around!

    My daughter looked at this little girl on the cover and said it was herself! What a beautiful story book. My 4yo does not like to sit and read through a whole story and often loses interest so what I appreciate most in this book is it’s a story per page and the amount of adventures that she goes on throughout the book. Beautifully written book that I will buy for any child’s birthday.

    This book is brilliant. Its HuuEmotions by J.E. Jones. It is beautifully written with wonderful illustrations that compliment the storyline. The subjects about what feelings are, educate children about exploring their feelings in a fun way that introduces easy reading.
